JUNOCO Normalizes Imperfect Skin With #ToBeHuman Campaign

California-based skincare brand JUNOCO is on a mission to realize a more sustainable beauty industry and champion skin positivity. That’s why they recently launched a campaign entitled #ToBeHuman to reiterate that “true beauty is boundless.”

The photoshoot for JUNOCO’s #ToBeHuman campaign features non-professional models from diverse backgrounds. Professional lighting or stylists were also not hired. As such, the models were barefaced and were only asked to use JUNOCO’s cleansing balm for a month before the photoshoot and on the day of.

Our goal of the #ToBeHuman campaign is to move past the uncomfortable stages of finding what society has deemed as our “flaws” and lead the conversation towards the honest and realness of self-acceptance through positive influence and energy,” says JUNOCO. 

“The #ToBeHuman campaign is how JUNOCO is taking part of a revolution towards a better future for beauty. Creating a new beauty industry that is more accepting, kind, and inclusive.”
