Australian eco-friendly fashion and conscious beauty labels have been garnering a lot of attention lately, such as Jean Riley, an emerging sustainable jewellery brand.

Jean Riley’s latest release is a 10-piece range, which pays homage to the season of spring. Dubbed “1987,” the romantic collection features delicate and intrinsically designed pieces that spotlight precious amethyst, blue topaz, and garnet gemstones throughout each item.

Recycled and ethically-sourced 925 sterling silver is the base metal for all Jean Riley jewellery. The artisan-crafted “1987″ range showcase hand-blown glass motifs, hand-carved flowers, freshwater pearls, gold vermeil, and other textured styles.

Notable highlights in the “1987” offering include the Benjul Droplet Earrings and matching chain featuring hand-carved artisanal flowers with 18k gold vermeil, the Mareé Chain that symbolizes strength and courage, the Annafrida Ear Cuff and Bangle encrusted with a garnet stone to evoke higher thinking and prosperity to others, and the Maurice Ring boasting a round-cut London blue topaz in the center.

Elsewhere the O’Rie Droplet Hoops and its baroque pearls naturally shaped by the ocean is another noteworthy and eye-catching piece, along with the Benjul Amethyst Droplet Earrings featuring 18k gold vermeil encrusted with amethyst.
