Located in Sangenjaya, Japan, there is a minimalist green tea house called Tokyo Saryo. Opened by Green Brewing in January 2017, the tea house is considered the first of its kind for serving hand dripped green tea.
Using a dripper made exclusively for Japanese green tea that utilizes the extraction theory and tools of drip coffee, Tokyo Saryo creates a “new style of Japanese tea to enjoy unique single origin tea leaves with the best taste and aroma.”
Tokyo Saryo has claimed that their technique achieves the optimal balance of temperature and extraction rate, resulting in the perfect cup of green tea.
With various types of green tea sourced from Japan available to taste, there is also an online store that sells packaged tea leaves.
