Following the popularity of their Impossible Chicken Nuggets, plant-based meat substitute company Impossible Foods has launched its Impossible Chicken Patties for chicken sandwich lovers seeking to reduce their meat consumption and eat vegan.

Featuring a familiar golden crispy outside with a tender and juicy inside, the cholesterol-free Impossible Chicken Patties are made entirely from plant-based ingredients such as soy protein.

The patties are said to have 50% less saturated fat, 30% less total fat, use 49% less land, use 44% less water, and generate 36% fewer greenhouse gas emissions when compared to conventional animal chicken patties.

The Impossible Chicken Patties are now available nationwide in select Safeways and Sprouts stores. According to Impossible Foods, Walmart and other stores will have the Impossible Chicken Patties on store shelves in the coming months.
