After months of being stuck in self-quarantine, summer has finally arrived. As many begin to step outside and bask in the sun, there are a few eco-friendly and vegan sunscreen options to take note of in the market. One of which is Everyday Humans.

Unlike your traditional and pore-filling SPF sunscreens, the sun and body care company creates eco-friendly alternatives that leave your skin feeling silky, smooth, and fresh. Geared towards sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin, Rose S’il Vous Plait, Everyday Humans’ latest release, features a weightless formula that melts into your skin to create a velvety-matte consistency and does not give off a white or purple cast.

Just like its namesake, Rose S’il Vous Plait contains powerful rose extract, antioxidant-rich green tea, calming aloe water, and nutritive vitamin E. Coconut alkanes and organic Aloe barbadensis leaf juice are also added to help restore the skin’s moisture levels. The Australian-produced ingredients are completely vegan, cruelty-free, and reef-friendly. Along with protecting you from the sun, the sunscreen’s ingredients help replenish and restore your complexion’s moisture-sebum balance, on top of soothing troubled spots and minimizing inflammation.

In terms of the sun-protection side of things Rose S’il Vous Plait is equipped with SPF30 and its active ingredients include 11.25% zinc oxide and 1.50% titanium dioxide. It does not contain harmful elements such as parabens, sulfates, oxybenzone, octinoxate, or silicone, to name a few.

The recent debut of Rose S’il Vous Plait follows in the successful footsteps of Resting Beach Face SPF30 Sunscreen Serum, which Everyday Humans released last summer. In addition, the label’s assortment includes body sunscreen Oh My Bod SPF 50, aloe-infused face and body mist No Problemo, and skin salve Bomb Diggity.

Everyday Human’s Rosé S’il Vous Plait SPF30 Gentle Mineral Sunscreen retails for $34 CAD ($25 USD) and is available for purchase via Everyday Humans’ website, Amazon and Ulta. All of Everyday Human’s products come in eco-friendly and recyclable packaging.

Everyday Human will also be expanding this August and will roll out to Sephora’s Asia-Pacific stores across 11 countries.
