Supermodel Elsa Hosk has just revealed a nail polish collaboration with Beaubble. The collection features six colours that are non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable.
This is the first nail polish that will forego the use of acetone and cotton pads because all you need is hot water to take it off; making it super easy to switch out the colours within a matter of minutes. Not to mention satisfying as you get to peel off the nail polish in one fellow swoop.
The formula is 60% water-based which is more than the standard nail polish formula, and this comes with two benefits. One benefit is the health of your nails as they won’t be suffocated by harsh chemicals, and the other is you get to keep your windows closed because there is no gross chemical smell.
The six colours are inspired by different moments in Elsa’s life and each is captured in a picture that can be seen on Beaubble’s website. One set of polish includes the colours, Matcha Latte, Los Angeles Sunset, and Matisse Blue. The other set includes the colour names Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief, New York Sunset, and Enjoying a sweet treat.
Ethics and sustainability are seen throughout this entire collaboration from product to packaging. The ingredients are free of anything animal-derived, and the packaging is made from 100% recycled paper with a soy ink print.
