After debuting its eco-friendly and vegan Rose S’il Vous Plait SPF30 Gentle Mineral Sunscreen earlier this summer, clean beauty brand Everyday Humans has just unveiled its latest 2020 must-have item: a sanitizer spray.

Named Germophobe, the sanitizer spray is the perfect essential item to add to your everyday carry in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Germophobe’s formula is gentle enough that it can be sprayed on bare hands for quick cleaning, various surfaces to disinfect, and even on your mask to refresh it, all while working to kill 99.9 percent of germs. Additionally, Germophobe is effective in all sorts of settings and helps to purify air both indoors and outdoors.

Keeping up with its clean beauty mantra, Germophobe’s formula is made with natural ingredients such as calming aloe vera, vitamin-enriched green tea extract, and antioxidant-rich safflower seed oil. These components also help to prevent dry and cracked skin when applied to hands, an issue that many have faced from using other alternatives currently available from the market today. Organic coconut oil and aloe barbadensis leaf juice is also added in to restore the skin’s moisture levels. The product is completely safe, and can be massaged into the skin, or spritzed on masks and left to be air-dried.

However, don’t be fooled. Germophobe disinfects all kinds of surfaces and purifies the air with another active ingredient, 65% percent ethyl alcohol (a CDC minimum requirement). And unlike other sanitizers, Germophobe boasts a heavenly scent of refreshing black tea, mixed with a natural blend of geranium, clary sage, and lavender.

Germophobe’s ingredients are sourced in Australia and are completely vegan, cruelty-free, and reef-friendly. The formula does not contain harmful elements such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, methanol, or synthetic fragrances, to name a few.

Germophobe comes packaged in a recyclable two-ounce spray bottle (made from recycled PET) and is currently available at Everyday Humans’ website for $8.50 USD (approximately $11 CAD). Purchase three bottles to save $4 USD (approximately $5 CAD) with the Germ Buster Trio, or buy 12 to save $20 USD (approximately $27 CAD) with the Dozen Deal.

On the horizon, Everyday Humans will be adding an eco-friendly family-sized version of Germophobe to its lauded lineup. The label’s range currently includes body sunscreen Oh My Bod SPF 50, aloe-infused face and body mist No Problemo, and skin salve Bomb Diggity.
