Noting how ordinary chewing gum found in supermarkets are made from artificial ingredients such as aspartame, acesulfame-k, BHT and plastic gum base, London-based company Chewsy creates chewing gum that is comprised solely of ingredients sourced from trees and plants.
Lacking any aspartame, artificial flavours, sweeteners and preservatives, the chewing gum is made from xylitol, chicle gum base, gum arabic, sunflower lecithin and natural flavours.
“We ditched all the gross, health-harming, chemically-modified stuff that you usually find in gum and made ridiculously healthy and tasty gum from nature and nature only,” said Chewsy. “We are honest. In total, there are three chewing gum flavours of spearmint, peppermint, and lemon that are available.
