Clean wine brand Avaline, co-founded by American actress Cameron Diaz and fashion entrepreneur Katherine Power, recently launched Sparkling Rosé, a brand new vegan rosé.

Available in a petit half bottle, the wine is described as being dry, soft, and delicately balanced.

It is made up of four grapes: macabeo, xarel-lo, parellada, and monastrell, and was manufactured in Penedès, Spain at Raventós i Blanc, which is one of the oldest wineries in the world. In fact, the Raventós family has owned the winery since 1497 and has a reputation for their organic, sparkling wines. They also go to great lengths to promote biodiversity and improve sustainability in all aspects of the estate.

Avaline’s Sparkling Rosé has an aroma of rose petal, stone fruit, and pomegranate, with a flavour profile that includes notes of berry lemonade and tart peaches. This makes the California-based brand’s newest rosé a fruity and floral treat.

As with all Avaline wines, their new rosé is made with organic grapes, is free from unwanted additives like artificial colouring and concentrates, and is 100% vegan. The Sparkling Rosé is also gluten-free, GMO-free, and contains just 1 gram of sugar per serving.

In fact, the ingredient list is just four items long – organic grapes, organic cane sugar, sulfites (a natural byproduct of fermentation), and bentonite clay (a naturally-occurring clay that binds to the proteins in the wine and is carefully filtered out before bottling).
