American artist Billie Eilish has teamed up with Nike on two new sneaker styles – both of which are sustainable.
Specifically, Eilish worked with Nike to create two new Air Jordan sneaker styles, both of which are 100% vegan and made up of over 20% recycled materials.
Eilish has been vocal about her love of Air Jordans for years. She is frequently seen wearing them on stage and to awards shows and even confessed her love for Don C x Jordan Legacy 312, which she describes as her favourite style.
For the collaboration, Eilish reimagined two popular Jordan styles: the Air Jordan 1 KO and a pair of Air Jordan 15s.
Eilish made the announcement on her Instagram account earlier this week, where she is seen wearing both styles. The Jordan 1 KOs are available in a pistachio green (reminiscent of Eilish’s past hair colour) and glow in the dark, while the Jordan 15s are mushroom-hued. Plus, both styles are gender-neutral.
Each pair of sneakers is adorned with Eilish’s logo on the tongue tag and a co-branded insole featuring her signature along with the Air Jordan logo.
The Billie Eilish x Air Jordan sneakers are set to launch on the singer-songwriter’s website on September 27th and exclusively on the Nike SNKRS app on September 30th.
