Microsoft Adaptive Accessories

Following the release of the Xbox Adaptive Controller designed to enable users with disabilities to enjoy the simple fun of gaming, Microsoft has continued its mission of championing accessible technology by creating a new device collection called Adaptive Accessories.

Set to become available in fall 2022, the Adaptive Accessories collection will allow customers who have difficulty using conventional devices such as mouses to configure, 3D print, and customize their own to meet their specific needs.

“Discover the mouse you can customize by attaching a Microsoft Adaptive Mouse Tail and Thumb Support, or 3D printing to make a mouse that truly works for you,” reads Microsoft’s website. “This versatile system was created for people who can’t use a traditional mouse, and anyone who wants to increase their PC productivity.”

In addition to mouses, keyboard inputs and shortcuts will also be available for customization.
