To launch the final installment of its Genius collection for 2020, Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler has once again called upon lauded American fashion designer Matthew M. Williams and his 1017 ALYX 9SM label.
The seasonal offerings from 6 Moncler 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection features a diverse range of meticulously fashioned garments, all crafted with functionality in mind. Williams’ defining cuts, taped tailoring, laser-cut details, and seamless sonic bonding are spotlighted throughout the looks, which is then all tied together with a concise colour palette of black and neutral tones of khaki and beige.
In terms of silhouettes, the lineup includes a statement Swarovski dust-coated puffer jacket, parkas, cropped blousons, zip-up trench coats, sleek trousers, and articulated leggings, along with a range of essential wears such as T-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, turtlenecks, and pullovers.
The collection wouldn’t be complete without 1017 ALYX 9SM’s celebrated hardware accessories such as belts and a nylon and mesh harness complete with Williams’ signature rollercoaster-inspired buckle.
At the helm of the collection is a focus on sustainability. All items are made from innovative and responsible materials such as organic fabrics and Econyl, a regenerated nylon derived from ocean and land-based waste.
