London-based accessories brand Yuzefi, helmed by Central St Martins graduate Naza Yousefi, is the latest eco-friendly label challenging its customers to make more conscious purchases and reduce waste.
For the Fall/Winter 2021 season, Yuzefi has decided to foray into apparel, having debuted its inaugural Ready-to-Wear collection which celebrates sustainability.
Each modern wardrobe staple in the seasonal range has been elevated with elegant cutouts and simple lacing details. The collection comprises meticulously crafted jackets, wrap tops, ruched dresses, trousers, and a selection of choice outwear pieces all made from deadstock fabrics to help lower the brand’s carbon footprint.
Luxurious linen and wool blends help to construct the tailored split jackets, which arrive in subdued tones of stark black, fresh white, creamy beige, and earthy browns, while certified vegan leather sourced from Italy is additionally used to create the pant trousers and another split jacket variant. Elsewhere, rich tones of burgundy, beige and lavender are seen on the outwear items and dresses, along with olive greens and browns.
In terms of accessories, Yuzefi’s FW21 RTW range includes an array of multifunctional and versatile handbags and clutches (what the brand is known for) embellished with oversized gold hardware, silver chains, and strap detailing. The eye-catching bags are swathed in hues of electric blue and canary yellow.
