Starbucks has partnered with Muuse to introduce a brand new program aimed at reducing waste called Borrow A Cup.
As the name suggests, the program allows customers to purchase any drink in a reusable cup. Once the drink is finished, the cup is returned to be cleaned and sanitized.
In order to incentivize people to participate in this free program, a discount of $0.50 is offered.
Currently, the program is only available in three stores located in Singapore.
“A small change for one person, but one that will definitely make a difference in reducing the amount of single-use disposables in our landfill waste,” says Muuse.
