Described as “the most premium and individual of EVs”, Arc Vector is the world’s first fully electric neo-café racer with an integrated Human Machine Interface (HMI).

Created by UK-based startup Arc Vehicle, the motorcycle is capable of achieving 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 200 km/h (120 mph). Powered by a 16.8 kWh Samsung-made battery cells, Act Vector can be fully charged in under 45 minutes and will be able to cover either 320 km (200 mi) of urban riding or 193 km (120 mi) of highway riding.

“Technology, performance, safety and experience come together like never before on two wheels,” said Founder/CEO, Arc Vehicle Ltd, Mark Truman. “The Vector is more than just the world’s most premium electric motorcycle; it’s the world’s first motorcycle with integrated multi-sensory HMI (Human Machine Interface), it’s an innovative heads-up display helmet and it’s a tactile riding suit – all making up the most involving motorcycle experience on the market today.”

Described by Arc Vehicle as being similar to fighter pilot systems, the Zenith helmet developed in collaboration with Hedon is able to project various other data such as speedo and sat-nav directly on the Head-Up Display (HUD).

Fitted with a rear camera so that anything in the blind spot can be seen on the HUD, settings are selected by either a controller on the Arc Vector and or voice command by utilizing the embedded Wi-Fi headset.

The Origin armour and jacket tailored in collaboration with Knox is embedded with audio-type haptic amplifiers that vibrate to provide haptic feedback. With three settings available, the Urban Mode is able to alert riders of their blind spots with vibrations on their shoulder, the Sports Mode provides feedback of the bike’s dynamic position and parameters by calculating G-force levels, and the Euphoric Mode enables riders to play music through the haptics.

“Arc Vector satisfies those of us who are rarely satisfied, who are always looking for a different road, a different view,” said Truman. “We understand the need to be different, to be better, and challenge the norm.”
