Eco-friendly clothing has been soaring in popularity over the last year. But fashion isn’t the only industry turning towards sustainability. Case in point: Wolf Circus.
Wolf Circus is a Vancouver-based jewellery brand that is changing the jewellery game by offering pieces made out of recycled metals.
“All of our pieces are hand fabricated or cast using the lost-wax casting process. Wolf Circus uses either recycled sterling silver or recycled bronze that is coated in a high-grade 14k gold plating. We are adamant about ensuring our collection is both well-made and well-priced and like to think of ourselves as an attainable luxury,” reads the jewellry brand’s website.
In addition to being eco-friendly and affordable, the jewellery brand is entirely created by, run by, and powered by women. Their all-female team is single-handedly responsible for the creation and marketing of each and every product.
Further, they have an “Everybody” collection, meant to be inclusive of all people and genders. Finally, many of their pieces represent the female body.
In a decade, the demi-fine jewellery brand has grown to the point where they now have showrooms in both the United States and Canada, and they have stockists spanning four continents. Boutiques from Tokyo, Japan to Melbourne, Australia now carry Wolf Circus pieces.
Despite their success, they continue to operate at home, in their office in Vancouver’s edgy Railtown district.
Customers can shop in person at one of Wolf Circus’ three North American showrooms or in one of a huge handful of boutiques where their products are available across Asia, Europe, and North America. Alternatively, the jewellry can be purchased online.
The brand is known for chunky gold and silver pieces, which include rings, necklaces, earrings, anklets, and bracelets. They offer simpler pieces as well as more statement pieces that feature pearls, chains, glass, and even engravings. Bestsellers range from the classic Estella pearl hoop earrings to the trendy Rosie coin necklace in gold.
