Weekday, an H&M Group-owned brand, has released a new, limited-edition pair of jeans made of post-consumer waste. The jeans in question are an eco-friendly version of their popular Rowe Jeans.

To bring the upcycled jeans to life, Weekday partnered with Infinited Fiber Company (IFC). Together, they created the IFC Rowe Jeans that consists of 50% organic cotton and 50% Infinna, which is a material that comes from 100% reborn textile waste.

IFC’s patented material Infinna can be recycled endlessly in the same manner as it was recycled to create the Rowe Jeans. This is possible due to IFC’s innovative technology that can turn anything from textiles to agricultural waste into a new cotton-like fibre. This groundbreaking innovation makes it possible to repeatedly recycle garments without compromising on quality. Thus, Weekday’s IFC Row Jeans are the embodiment of circularity in the fashion industry.

As for the style of the jeans, they are high waisted and feature a straight leg silhouette, medium blue wash, and classic five-pocket look. They are available in women’s sizes 24 to 34.

It’s worth noting that the price of the sustainable jeans is the same as the conventional pair, $60 USD, as part of Weekday’s efforts to democratize sustainable fashion.
