With the ultimate goal of getting millions of combustion vehicles off the road by replacing it with electric vehicles, Sweden-based company Uniti has created an all-electric vehicle called Uniti Global.
Described as being “built for the world”, Uniti Global is designed with a Scandinavian and minimal approach to be the most optimal and compact vehicle for urban driving. Able to accommodate two passengers and a driver with 155 litres of cargo volume, the rear seats can be folded down and laid flat for a max cargo volume of 760 litres.
Powered by a standard 12kWh battery, the Uniti Global’s range is 150 km (93 mi). When fitted with the optional 24kWh battery, the top range is 300 km (186 mi).
With a Rapid DC charger (50kW), the charge time for 100 km (62 mi) of range is 10 minutes.
Intergrated with Android Automotive OS, Uniti Global drivers will have access to Google Play without requiring a connected smartphone.
Vehicle functions such as lighting and heating are controlled via a touch screen or a voice-activated, hands-free interface.
