So, how do their products work? As described by Modibodi, their modifier technology is absorbent, keeps you feeling dry, and is way more secure than pads or tampons. The underwear can hold up to 50mls of flow, and there are options for different absorbencies depending on your bodily needs. They are leak-free and easy to clean with a simple wash, rinse, and hand dry, to reuse and repeat.
The organization adds that “this world’s first innovation was created using a blend of TENCEL and Merino wool, scientifically proven to break down into nontoxic substances at the end of their usable life. They are super soft, and all materials are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certified and can be washed over 100 times. That’s more than 8 years of periods when washed once a month!”
Modibodi makes it very clear that they “are not a fast fashion brand”, but that their “vision is to have a positive impact on people and the planet.
