Created by robotics company Kinova, the JACO is an assistive robot arm capable of performing functions such as picking up a glass of water.
Designed to be mounted onto a motorized wheelchair, the assistive robot arm features six-axis movement to “achieve what was once impossible”.
Powered by the motorized wheelchair’s battery, the JACO can be controlled with a joystick, sip-and-puff, head control, head array system or interface.
Made from carbon fibre, the assistive robot arm is durable and weather-resistant.
The JACO can also be fitted with a two-finger hand.
