MIFA is one Canadian company taking the clean skincare industry by storm. The brand’s conscious skin and body care line is produced in Vancouver, British Columbia and is made out of all-natural ingredients.
Founded by Vancouver natives and best friends Michelle Lui and Fatemah Hamidi, MIFA was born out of what Lui and Hamidi perceived as a gap in the market for affordable luxury clean skincare. For them, MIFA was not only a way to fill this gap but was also a way to honour the human body. That is why they seek to create products that act as food for both the skin and the soul.

According to MIFA, humans are just as much a part of nature as plants. Just as you would nourish or tend to a garden, Lui and Hamidi believe that skin deserves to be cared for in the exact same way. This is what led MIFA to formulate all of their products with ingredients that the skin naturally loves: botanical oils, emollient-rich tropical plant butters, and highly concentrated essential oils. It is these types of plant-based ingredients that reap both internal and external benefits.
Each ingredient chosen by MIFA is selected with a purpose. Both the individual attributes of the ingredient are considered, as well as the combined effect they will produce when mixed with other natural ingredients in a larger formula.
Ingredients that MIFA frequently uses include aloe vera, Bulgarian lavender water, eucalyptus, rosemary, oatmeal, shea butter, peppermint, olive oil, avocado, cocoa butter, lavender, and coconut.
