Designed by architect Peter Cardew, Champ Robson’s fifth flagship store is located on 1148 Robson Street in downtown Vancouver.
Based in Vancouver, Champ Robson specializes in the designing and manufacturing of premium athletic wear with the principles of respecting details and mastering simplicity.
The 3,000 sq ft (279 sqm) store features a custom modular shelving system fixed to floor-to-ceiling beams. Constructed from interchangeable components such as tables, boxes and hanging rods, the shelving system is easily configurable and allows for intuitive display and storage.
With white tiled walls and light gray linoleum flooring, Reigning Champ’s pieces are contracted and highlighted.
“In a time when sacrificing material resources simply for a change in appearance may be considered as irresponsibly wasteful, these innovative design solutions create equally effective change,” said Cardew.
