In light of the tragic events unfolding in Afghanistan, a group of photographers have teamed up to run a photo print fundraiser for NGO hospitals and clinics in the country.

The fundraiser is organized by ISHKAR, a retail platform that promotes crafts, travel and culture from volatile countries such as Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, and more, not to mention Afghanistan. “We do what humans have done forever: trading objects, telling stories and travelling beyond our own frontiers,” says ISHKAR.

All profits from the fundraiser will go directly to an Italy-based NGO called EMERGENCY. Since its founding in 1994, EMERGENCY has provided free healthcare to victims of war and poverty in addition to building hospitals and training local medical staff. They currently operate surgery hospitals and First Aid Posts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Uganda, and Yemen.

Down below are all of the images available as part of the photo print fundraiser.
