Having only launched a little over a year ago, Parisian brand Alfie, helmed by designer Alice Fresnel, is deservedly garnering the spotlight for turning deadstock fabrics sourced from French luxury fashion brands into new eco-friendly and fashion-forward wardrobe pieces.

For the SS21 season, Alfie takes inspiration from the 90’s minimalism and infuses it into Y2K cuts, such as body-hugging skirts, dresses, and tops in a collection it calls “Summer Collectibles.” Elsewhere, the Pinstripe Cargo pants, La Homme Shirt, and No Wire Bra pair together for an effortless office look, whilst the Boiler Suit, Boxer Shorts, and Boxer Top offer up a more street style aesthetic.

Other noteworthy items include the full-length, silted Polo Dress, the mid-calf Tube Skirt, and workwear-inspired Cashmere Cargo pants. In terms of color palette, Alfie uses natural shades of brown, white, black, and olive to pastel tones of mint green, pink, and baby blue.

The items in the range are designed, cut, sewn, and assembled within a radius of less than 10 KM in Paris to limit the label’s carbon footprint to almost zero.

Additionally, the apparel items are produced according to the variation of demand to avoid unsold garments and waste. Because each look is limited, the item will be numbered, making it one-of-a-kind.
