With COVID-19 vaccinations being rolled out and administered, the lockdown has gradually become relaxed with the opening of malls, salons, and more.
Eager to get back on the club dance floor is British fashion designer Stella McCartney, who recently released her Spring 2022 collection that is filled with party and nightlife-ready pieces.
Inspired by ‘Y is for Youth’ from the McCartney A to Z, the S22 collection is described as being a blend of nostalgic and futuristic, with raver and club kid aesthetics.
“Spring 2022 reflects this renewal and a return to (night)life – rewriting cyberpunk codes for Stella women living in the moment and mindful of tomorrow,” says McCartney. “They are expressive of their values, energetic in their passions and liberated in their sexuality, captured in an effortless wardrobe materialising next-gen optimism, sensuality and humour.”
Like with all of Stella McCartney’s pieces, sustainability is at the forefront with the collection being made from eco-friendly fabrics.
Some of the highlights include dresses created from recycled polyester faille, recycled polyester Teddy Mat fleece featuring a recycled nylon outer filled with 37% plant-based padding, and a vegan Falabella tote.
