Located in the entrance hall of a private residence in Beirut, Lebanon, Breathing Wall is a three-dimensional wall surface created by Najla El Zein.

Composed of diamond-shaped modules with two colour facets of white and gold, the installation’s mechanical and automation system rotates the modules to form either an “all white” state and or a surface that imposes a rich, golden vibrancy.

“The wall is alive where one can see it in motion, static and under an innumerable amount of compositions,” said Najla.
