Millions are Taking Part in the Global Climate Strike

Described as being historic, climate strikes are currently being held throughout the globe with millions in roughly 150 countries taking to the streets. The protests call for an “end to the age of fossil fuels” and for a world with “climate equity and justice”.

“The urgency of the climate crisis requires a new approach and a just response centered on human rights, equity, and justice,” said 350, an environmental non-profit organization. “The climate crisis won’t wait, so neither will we”.
