American supermodel Karlie Kloss has co-created her very first collection with adidas that features an array of high-waisted leggings, sneakers, sports bras, and more.

The collection is said to take inspiration from Kloss’ love of running, which is why you’ll find running-appropriate attire for all seasons in the line. The versatile activewear has a colour palette of bright orange, navy blue, black, and white, and is intended to support a diverse range of activities, including running. Further, adidas’ patented sweat-wicking AEROREADY fabric technology has been used throughout.

Better yet, the new activewear collection is sustainable, as it incorporates adidas’ cutting-edge recycled materials. Specifically, the line uses recycled materials from two sustainable manufacturing organizations, PRIMEBLUE and PRIMEGREEN. PRIMEBLUE is a high performance recycled material that is created in collaboration with Parley Ocean Plastic, which takes plastic waste sourced from remote islands, beaches, shorelines, and coastal communities and upcycles it, reducing pollution. PRIMEGREEN is a series of high performance recycled materials.

Beyond sustainability, the collection is also meant to send a powerful message to next-generation women. In a press release, Kloss stated that she aimed for the collection to empower people so that they feel more confident in pursuing their passions. The ultimate motivation behind the line was to inspire women to embrace the liberating power that comes with living an active life.
