In a bold move that epitomizes their reputation for avant-garde fashion, JACQUEMUS has opened a store in Seoul, South Korea, unlike any other. Nestled in the vibrant Seongsu neighbourhood, this 2,000-square-foot boutique is making headlines for its unconventional design – it’s shaped like a giant bag.

The exterior of the store boasts a fluffy facade, mirroring the beloved Bambimou bag‘s puff-flapped design. It’s a creative and whimsical take on retail space, a testament to the brand’s ingenuity and boundary-pushing approach to fashion and design.

This innovative retail space also features accessories from the brand’s Fall 2023 “Le Chouchou” collection. Gigi Hadid, a close friend of the designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, graced the collection’s ad campaign, further emphasizing the prominence of cherries in the designs.

The “Le Chouchou” collection initially premiered at the Grand Versailles, with a runway show that involved guests arriving by boat. The collection drew inspiration from historical figures like Marie Antoinette and Princess Diana, offering a regal and timeless appeal.

JACQUEMUS has been consistently inventive with its pop-up concepts, from a flower shop in Paris during pandemic restrictions to the Barbie pink 24/7 vending machine in both Paris and Milan. Each pop-up experience is a testament to the brand’s creativity and unique approach to retail.

Fashion enthusiasts and trendsetters alike have until October 29, 2023, to explore this extraordinary bag-shaped store in Seoul. JACQUEMUS continues to surprise and delight, not just with their fashion, but with the unforgettable experiences they create.
