When the team at HOLOS initially reached out to me for a review of their organic overnight Muesli, I was admittedly hesitant. First off, what in the world are Muesli? Originating from Switzerland, Muesli is typically filled with whole grains, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, offering a balanced and elevated oatmeal experience.
Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of oatmeal, I was keen to try HOLOS’s Muesli thanks to its modern branding, organic certification, and being plant-based. Thankfully, HOLOS was kind enough to send me a sampler pack filled with all nine of their flavours.
Usually for breakfast, I have eggs, toast, and fruit. But for days I don’t have time to cook, I find myself neglecting my breakfast and running out the door for my commute. For busy people who find themselves in a similar situation, HOLOS is perfect for you. Not only is HOLOS’s Muesli packed with organic whole grains, seeds, dried fruits, plant proteins, spices, probiotics, and superfoods, but it is also ridiculously easy to make. All you have to do is open up a pack of HOLOS’s Muesli, empty it in a glass jar or any other container, add roughly 200 ml of milk, shake it, refrigerate it overnight, and that’s it! When you wake up, you will find a prepared Muesli ready to be enjoyed. For extra flavouring, it is recommended to add fruit, yogurt, and or maple syrup.
In regards to flavours, the available choices are chai, apple+cinnamon, berries, caramel+raisins, apple+almonds, cocoa, vanilla, banana+berries, and mocha. I tried the berries flavour for my first taste of HOLOS’s Muesli and found that it was very palatable and sweet. The only downside for me was that the portions were a bit too much so I saved the leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.
I rate HOLOS’s Muesli 4 stars out of 5, and I highly recommend it to athletes, early risers, and anyone who wants to improve their diet and health.
For those interested in trying out HOLOS’s Muesli, they offer a 12-pack for $65.09, which calculates to $5.42 per serving.
