Described as a “timeless reinterpretation of a classic”, High Society’s Highlight collection is made from the by-products of hemp, tobacco and wine production.

Based in South-Tyrol, Italy, High Society is a studio that specializes in creating plant-based objects made from upcycled post-industrial waste.

By combining innovative production techniques with technology and craftsmanship, the studio aims to highlight the value and potential use of waste materials.

To create the Highlight light shade collection, by-products are mixed with a bio-based binder then compression moulded before being coated in natural wax for protection against moisture.

Highlight Hemp is made from pesticide-free hemp leftovers.
