Singer-songwriter Frank Ocean has just released a fashion line as part of his newly launched American luxury brand named Homer.

In conjunction with the launch of Homer, an 84-page catalogue chronicling each item in the brand’s first-ever collection was published. The catalogue cover and photography were designed by Ocean while the campaign imagery was shot by Ocean’s frequent collaborator, Tyrone Lebon.

According to Ocean, Homer has been in the works for over three years and took inspiration from his “childhood obsessions” and the concept of “heritage as fantasy.”

Homer’s inaugural collection is made up of accessories, namely jewellery and silk scarves, all of which feature an “X” motif.

Beyond the luxurious feel of the items, they are also handcrafted using sustainable materials. For example, the jewellery was made from a mix of 18-karat gold, recycled sterling silver, lab-grown diamonds (from Homer’s state-of-the-art lab in the United States), and hand-painted enamel.

Homer’s first-ever collection is available exclusively at the brand’s newly-opened jewellery store in Manhattan, New York, located at 70-74 Bowery. Customers can go to the Homer website and book an appointment to visit the store online.
