Designed by Jeonghyun Ahn, CANVAS is a Bluetooth-enabled speaker that is described as being able to draw any genre of music.
Unlike conventional speakers that feature a distinct rectangular shape, the CANVAS speaker is flat and made to resemble a white canvas.
“Paintings by all artists start with a canvas of pure white before beautiful paintings are painted,” said Ahn. “Whether it’s surrealism, realism, or abstraction, all the paintings are drawn on canvas.”
As a means of designing the speaker so that it would seamlessly fit in any environment, Ahn used a metal frame element so that the speaker would partially become a furniture piece. The speaker is also angled 75 degrees for added stability.
The power, Bluetooth, volume control and playback button are placed on the top. Placed at the bottom are 2 USB ports and a power line.
