The 100% certified vegan, sustainably-produced Prosecco brand known as Della Vite is finally launching in the United States.
Founded by celebrity sisters Chloe, Poppy, and Cara Delevingne, Della Vite is an award-winning Prosecco label, first launched in the sisters’ native UK. As lifelong Prosecco fans, it was a no-brainer for the Delevingne sisters to make Della Vite their first joint business venture. After a successful launch across the pond, the trio decided to debut Della Vite stateside, during New York Fashion Week no less.
The Prosecco label combines state-of-the-art technology with traditional Italian winecraft to develop products of superior quality using sustainable methods.
The sustainable methods Della Vite employs can be seen in their winery, which is powered by solar energy and avoids the use of farming machinery, as well as overseas ingredients that are high in carbon emissions.
Further, all Della Vite Prosecco is filtered through a clean ceramic system, rather than relying on draining agents that contain animal products (standard practice in the industry). The water is even heated by the refrigeration units’ exchange system, and nitrogen (used for wine storage) is always extracted from the air rather than chemicals.
In line with the brand’s sustainable vision, Della Vite bottles are label-free, instead featuring a bespoke logo depicting the brand’s signature.
Currently, Della Vite has two premium Proseccos on offer: the Della Vite Superiore D.O.C.G (winner of two prestigious awards) and the Della Vite Treviso D.O.C, both of which offer a taste of Italy (Veneto, to be specific).
The Superiore D.O.C.G is made exclusively with handpicked Glera grapes grown in the valley of Valdobbiadene and offers aromas of olive and citrus blossom, while the Treviso D.O.C. features notes of jasmine and lavender and is perfect for cocktails.
