For those who work in the restaurant industry and healthcare, Crocs are regarded as the holy grail of footwear. Despite being simple in design that many have described as ugly, there is no denying that they are comfortable and practical.

Differing from its mainstream offering, Crocs at Work shoes are non-slip, lightweight, waterproof and easy to clean. With enclosed toes and heels that meet workplace standards, Crocs at Work is favoured by many medical professionals.

“They are easy to disinfect and clean and are comfortable and slip resistant. No more hard to clean sneakers,” wrote nurse Heather in the review section on Crocs’ website.

“I’m a nurse and on my feet all day long. I bought two pairs of the Women’s Neria Pro II Clog, one black and one white. They are so comfortable!! And perfect! I work in a plasma center, and I’m telling all my co-workers about them,” reads another review written by nurse Lisa.

As the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths rises, the time to support healthcare workers is paramount. Leading the charge is Crocs, who is making a daily donation of 20,000 shoes to the “frontline heroes in healthcare”. To date, Crocs has donated 220,000 pairs of shoes.

“Over the past week, we have spoken to healthcare workers, their facilities and even their family and friends, and they have specifically asked for our shoes in an effort to provide ease on their feet, as well as ease of mind as they need the ability to easily clean up before they go home to their families,” said Andrew Rees, Crocs CEO.

“Wishing you and yours much comfort during these challenging times. I’m hopeful that more comfortable days are near and Crocs will be a part of many healthy, happy moments in the weeks and months to come,” added Rees.
