As more and more companies begin to realize the importance of creating sustainable and eco-friendly products, now more than ever before, it’s becoming easier for customers to incorporate them into their daily routine. Case in point with clean beauty and hair care brand, Susteau, who have launched a range of waterless shampoos and conditioners, along with staple hair accessories.

Formerly known as OWA Haircare, Susteau (a combination of “sustainability” with the French word for water “eau”) is celebrating its rebranding with Moondust Hair Wash and Moondust Hair Conditioner. Both products feature an innovative powder-to-liquid formula that instantly transforms into a creamy consistency within seconds of lathering with wet hands. By removing the water in the formulas, one bottle of Moondust is now equivalent to four liquid containers.

Susteau’s Moondust range has been scientifically formulated to provide moisture and hydration to your hair without drying it out or leaving it feeling weighed down, and works as a perfect pair to achieve soft, healthy hair. Susteau’s Moondust Shampoo and Conditioner arrive in both a scented and nonscented variant, the former which smells fresh and clean with hints of ylang ylang, geranium, black currant, and clove.

The formulas are packed with Earth-loving ingredients such as plant-based rice protein, aloe vera, shea butter, and squalane, which make them suitable for all hair types. Additionally, the formulas are free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances, on top of always being clean, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Further aiding in Susteau’s sustainability initiatives, both the shampoo and conditioner arrive in custom-designed packaging crafted out of 95% ocean-bound recycled plastics. To complement its Moondust range, Susteau also offers a recycled acetate Crystal Blue Comb made up of over 95% recycled materials.

“The brand name encompasses our sustainable approach to water as it relates to beauty, using little to absolutely none at all,” shared Kailey Bradt, founder of Susteau, in a press release. “The beauty industry has lacked environmental sustainability, transparency and innovation. We’re setting out to change that.”
