Footwear retailer Clarks Originals has been expanding its market for the past few years, having teamed up with some of the biggest names in the fashion world. Now, for the first time ever, the footwear purveyor has released its iconic Wallabee and Desert Boot silhouettes as vegan options.
Instead of its usual premium suede and nubuck detailing, both the Wallabee and Desert Boot have now been constructed in Portugal with non-animal derivative materials. Each model perfectly mimics their original style’s quality and features vegan-friendly uppers and linings. Even the rubber crepe sole is sustainable, having been Forest Stewardship Council-certified.
Further elevating each option is refined stitch detailing. Embossed on the lateral heel and hangtag is a leaf motif, a new icon created by Clarks Originals to represent its new Vegan Icons Collection.
Available in neutral hues of beige, brown, and black, the vegan Wallabee and Desert Boot can be purchased online.
