To celebrate 30 years of “great British style,” UK clothing brand Boden has released a “Best of Boden” capsule collection, which takes inspiration from some of Boden’s best-selling and most well-loved pieces from their archives.
To bring the Best of Boden collection to life, the brand’s in-house design team delved into early catalogues from the ‘90s and ‘00s and then reimagined standout pieces for the modern customer.
Even better, in the process of reimagining some of the label’s most iconic styles, the brand decided to incorporate sustainable materials. Take Boden’s heritage-style quilted Hollie Jacket as an example. The new and improved jacket was given a sustainable makeover and now features recycled polyester. And it’s not the only style to feature this eco-friendly material. Boden’s 30th anniversary Greta Fleece and Rachael tulle Skirt were also made out of 100% recycled polyester.
Meanwhile, the Island Frill Detail Blouse, which is currently available for pre-order, features 100% sustainable Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton.
Other updated pieces include the Kathryn jumper (now with an oversized collar), the Sophie long sleeve turtleneck (made with a heavier weight cotton for added durability) and the cord jeans (now with a wider leg).
The Best of Boden capsule includes men’s, women’s, and children’s (mini) styles that are at-once playful and classic.
