Made for both moms and Mother Nature, adidas by Stella McCartney‘s newest gym wear drop includes comfortable and adaptive pieces produced from post-industrial and post-consumer waste.

For the leggings, tank top, and sports bra, a high-performance yarn called Primeblue that is made with 50% upcycled plastic waste sourced from shorelines and coastal areas was used.

Other sustainable materials utilized in the collection include organic cotton and adidas Primegreen, a performance fabric that contains zero virgin plastic and is made of 100% recycled polyester.

“The collection has been inspired by and created for women on their motherhood journey, whether just at the start or having recently given birth,” says adidas to Dezeen. “The capsule fuses signature Adidas by Stella McCartney animal print with soft and stretchy performance fabrics designed to adapt with the body through each stage of the motherhood journey.”
